We all love to eat, and love tailgating for football games even more. We wanted to come together to share our love for food, and to give our favorite readers not one, but six delicious recipes that are perfect for tailgating season… I mean, football season. Welcome to our OFFICIAL TAILGATING FOOD SERIES!

Cooking may or may not be your thing, but we guarantee there will be something here for you that is easy to make, and will be perfect for Game Day.
But, if all else fails, or you’re simply not in the mood to cook, there’s always a few things you can bring to our tailgate that will be happily welcomed (and maybe even preferred): A Bo Box from Bojangles, a chicken nugget tray from Chick-fil-A, a bag of Milano cookies, and ALL the beer.
Now, as promised, here are the direct links to SIX legendary menu items that should hit your tailgate this fall:
Fall, Football, and Friends – my three favorite F’s.
Tailgating for football games is, by far, one of my favorite activities. Nothing beats it!
Besides good football and company, it’s important to have good food. For some reason, I always associate football with something buffalo, so one of my favorite things to make is buffalo chicken dip. What I love about this recipe is that it is DELICIOUS, super easy to make, and you can bake it or (conveniently) use a mini crock pot. It’s the perfect addition to your tailgating experience.
[amazon_link asins=’B01AT3T0GC,B01DCIKFNI,B00ENJRK3E,B01N33KOCM,B0009V1BDA,B000OWNMRM,B005G0XFEM,B00KJNLYFI’ template=’ProductCarousel’ store=’poms2moms-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’4f06af4e-a45a-11e8-9b70-6bcc3dda70c0′]
Since this dip is more enjoyable hot, it would be good to put it in a warmer for tailgating after it’s baked. If your tailgate area is fancy and has an outlet, put the dip in a crock pot and you’re set! This spicy treat is perfect with Tostitos chips…and a nice craft beer!

Shelley’s Cookout Cheddar Style Sliders
Cookout. If you’ve ever lived or visited North Carolina, you know about Cookout. This delicious drive-thru only restaurant serves food you would dream of finding at your own backyard cookout. Burgers, chicken, BBQ sandwiches, BLTs, fries, CORNDOGS, Cheerwine, milkshakes…
The menu is amazing – the best part being the different “style” burgers you can order. CHEDDAR STYLE. Saaaay what?! It’s a delicious grilled burger dripping with melted cheese, bacon, and grilled onions (insert drool emoji).
Now that I live in Florida, I rely on road trips to the Carolinas to get my fix of this delicious burger. We stopped last time we drove to Raleigh and it was heaven in my mouth! I decided I needed to recreate the magical burger everyone loves so much in a mini version. These sliders (I’m a BIG fan of sliders) are the perfect bite size main dish for your [amazon_textlink asin=’B003XKF0F4′ text=’black and gold tailgate‘ template=’ProductLink’ store=’poms2moms-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’d8cd9156-a45b-11e8-925d-d1cf7e5889c4′]! The burger is “black” and the cheese is GOLD.

Jenny’s Famous Hashbrown Casserole
Thank you, Mary Hardy, my momma, for this creation.
This has been my staple since the first potluck I attended and something my family requests frequently. It is seriously the easiest recipe and super delicious.
If you need more convincing… because its base is hashbrowns… it works for any time of day! It’s a great side for a big hearty breakfast, pairs perfectly with grilling out, and is easy to bring and snack on while tailgating. (It also makes great leftovers!)

Kaitlin’s Guilt-Free Greek Dip
Ok… before you write this off as the depressing tailgate food option because it has a couple of vegetables… hear me out.
I’m a fan of all things cheesy and filling. Cayla and Jenny’s tailgating dishes are actually probably two of my favorite things… ever. So it takes a lot for me to break outside the normal comfort food you would expect to see at tailgates.

But y’all… there is something about this dip that outside of it being totally refreshing on a sweltering hot game day, makes a perfect addition to your tailgating menu because it’s stupid easy to make and packed with flavor.

Karey’s Andes Mint Chocolate Cookies
If it’s not simple, I’m not making it. That’s my cooking-rule-of-thumb.
The same goes for tailgating; I’d rather spend less time in the kitchen and more time starting shenanigans with my friends.
So…these cookies I’m about to share? Easy as pie. Chocolate + Mint is hard to beat. They are also quite pretty, qualifying them as a solid crowd pleaser.

Then this one is for you! (If you haven’t succumbed to pressure cooker paradise just yet… no worries… I got your back, too.)

These chicken wings are my go-to! (Does anything scream “football” more than a chicken wing?) Not only are they incredibly easy, but you can opt for so many different flavor profiles!

I cannot wait until next Saturday when college football kicks off. My husband and I were just discussing our menu last night. He votes for wings and I’m voting for taco dip. Those cookies look delicious!

Ashley… YES! The buffalo wing was already perfect, but add some cheese and make a dip out of it and I swear I’ve gone to football food heaven!
