It’s the New Year and with good intentions we all set our minds on different aspects of our lives to improve upon. The most common resolutions include health and fitness, organization, saving money, traveling, etc. These are all great resolutions and I’ve pulled my own resolutions from each of these categories as well. However, I do have another resolution category that I will be focused on for 2019…
When Aubrey was 3 months old, we first went up to Boone, NC to start our Christmas tradition of cutting down our own tree. We wandered around searching for the perfect tree, having a way more in depth conversation about height, shape, and overall appearance than I knew was possible.
The weather is cooler, leaves are changing, and Halloween is over, which means it’s officially The Holiday Season! [Cue Christmas music.] When I think of the holidays, I think of family and friend get-togethers, eating good food, and GIVING. After all, isn’t that what the season is intended to be about?
It is that time of year! Yes… the holidays… but I am talking about the time when everyone is planning their coordinating outfits for family photos! This is something I adore doing and could easily add to our list of family traditions. It is so important to capture each stage of life!
Some weeks I go so hard & accomplish so much, I end the week feeling like [amazon_textlink asin=’B072J84141′ text=’Wonder Woman‘ template=’ProductLink’ store=’poms2moms-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’8d63b6a2-d75e-11e8-83bb-c7ac6489462c’]. And then there are times, when the next week rolls around, I become overwhelmed from the mental to do list – rotating like a credit reel. That’s when the panic sets in and I have the tendency to hide from my tasks & people. Rather than ending that week like Diana Prince I feel more like Ursula.
