If you checked out “An Ode To Your Last Baby,” a couple weeks ago, you know my sweet little MJ turned one. In a massive transition from sappy to happy I wanted to share some of the details of her luau first birthday party and how you can, too.
One of the most exciting things about welcoming a new baby, (outside of adding a precious member to your family!) is designing the nursery. When you see the finished product, the room that your sweet newborn will call his/her own, it makes their arrival so much more real!
I don’t know about you, but I’m the mom with a million things on her brain at all times. Whether it’s meal-planning, scheduling the babes’ days, operating a side hustle, or dreaming about the next time I can take a shower in peace, my mind is always running.
It’s been a few months after you had your baby and you’re pretty sure you’re getting a hang of this whole parenting thing. Your babe is sleeping better, eating on a good schedule, and taking long glorious naps. You feel like you might be able to take shower or *gasp* cook dinner.
Until, SURPRISE, suddenly your kid is knee deep in the [amazon_textlink asin=’B0742M47V5′ text=’Tupperware‘ template=’ProductLink’ store=’poms2moms-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’1fc02063-678b-11e8-be20-e7165401bfc7′] making all types of racket and an even bigger mess.
Aubrey deals with a mild case of eczema, a constant runny nose and itchy eyes. For the longest time we blamed the snotty nose on daycare and the seasons. That is until earlier this month, we found out it was neither and we would have to make some lifestyle changes as a result.
Here’s how it all went down. Risden was 11 months old. At this time I was still breastfeeding; however, my milk supply was sinking faster than my bank account after a trip to Target. I tried all of the tricks to increase your milk supply like guzzling tons of water, pumping more frequently, and taking Fenugreek. Sadly, these tricks didn’t help like I hoped they would, and the milk seemed to disappear before my eyes.
Picture it… a hot summer day on the beautiful Grand Strand. You have bravely fought the wiggly little people and finally have them painted with sunscreen. You have all the baby beach essentials to ensure a PERFECT DAY in the sand and shore. (Or so you think…)
