15 Amazing Beauty Products For The Overworked Mama

What woman, and/or mama, doesn’t love finding products that make her feel confident, put-together, and well… less tired and overworked?

 

My husband can attest that I own way too many beauty products, that inevitably take up the majority of the space in our bathroom. However, I am a woman, busy mama, and have a lot of stuff. I believe I deserve 90% of the counter space.

Foundation –

I used to never wear liquid foundation, but have always wanted an even, airbrushed look. It goes on so smoothly and the coverage is unreal.

When I can get my hands on this foundation, I try and stock up!

Mascara –

I love the price, thick and full bristles, and clump-free formula. Both of these mascaras add so much volume.

For the days I don’t feel like putting on a lot of makeup, mascara saves the day. I don’t feel as scary leaving the house after putting a little on.

Eyebrow pencil –

I have tried almost every brow pencil, powder, and “tattoo marker” there is, but this is the one that keeps this mama most satisfied. This pencil lasts for a while (even though I use it every day) and it’s super thin, which offers a more natural look when penciling in.

Eyebrows make a woman’s face; if you have them, don’t be dumb and pluck them away… OWN THEM!

 

Blush –

I love a good, bold (but natural) blush. I think rosy cheeks enhance a woman’s face and add a great touch to the overall look. My all-time favorite is Younique Moodstruck Mineral Pressed Blusher in Stunning.

Lips –

I have always been obsessed with having something on my lips. Whether it’s chapstick, a subtle gloss, or a bold and vibrant lipstick… I need to have it. Playing with different colors that go with different seasons can be fun, and help complete your overall look for the day.

Face Scrub –

I love using it before I go to bed or in the morning when I wake up. It’s a product that leaves your face feeling soft and deeply clean.

There are 3 different scrubs that target different things – smooth & glow, nourish & soften, and purify & unclog. You can’t go wrong with any of them!

Leave in Conditioner –

Embarrassingly enough, I have tried one too many leave in conditioners. I guess I can be pretty fussy when it comes to beauty products. Skin Care –

A good skincare regimen has been a game-changer for me. I have always been pretty economical when it comes to spending money; however, the older I get, the more important skincare has become for me.

For the last several years, I have used [amazon_textlink asin=’B007NSS30G’ text=’Rodan and Fields’ Unblemished ‘ template=’ProductLink’ store=’poms2moms-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’98f874b5-c5a7-11e8-aa43-d5f58a141512′]regimen and I absolutely love it! I have always been a chronic “picker” and have been unsatisfied with my skin. Unblemished has really helped to clear my face up and makes me feel more confident when I’m not wearing makeup. Yes, it can be pricey, but I’m okay with splurging on face care products every few months, especially when they work.

There are several different products that you can get from R+F that accommodate your skin type. There are also SO MANY people who sell it, I would usually wait until someone was offering a good deal, and would jump on it. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

 

Lash Love –

This is another guilty pleasure that I’ve gotten hooked on. It’s extremely pricey, but the results are worth the $$$. If you are wanting to spoil yourself and have people STOP TO ASK ABOUT YOUR LASHES, go ahead and splurge on this!

You can apply it directly to your brows or lashes, and the results are noticeable within just a couple of weeks. It was a product I didn’t think I needed, but wanted to try, and I’m so glad I did!
